I really enjoyed every single page of this book. I'm reading several books about the Camino de Santiago and this has been my favorite so far. Her descriptions are beautiful and her observations of her fellow Pilgrims were astute. She strikes me as not only a very accomplished person but a very likable person. She shared a lot of her own deep, personal feelings with her readers – her strengths and her vulnerabilities.I felt that I was with her every step of the Camino!Great book if you're interested to learn more about the Camino de Santiago. This woman is just so...typical. Underweight, a victim of marketing, a believer that being busy is a badge of honor. (She played by all of the rules.) So, coming from this incredibly unaware, unenlightened place, she writes what she thinks is a radical and profound journal of her long walk. It's neither radical nor profound. This book may be helpful or mildly eye-opening for materialistic, unenlightened, young souls. It is not interesting or revelatory to people farther along in their spiritual journeys.
